About Us

Our story begins in 1945, in the Strona Valley and the villages overlooking the eastern shore of Lake Orta, where the traditional craftsmanship thrived. Combining local artisan tradition with modern machinery and equipment, Bisetti ensures quality standards that meet the requirements of the new millennium. In 2018, we moved to a modern factory in Omegna, Italy, where we continue to produce wooden table and kitchen items.

Mechanism

Pepper Mill: The mechanism of Bisetti’s pepper mill is made of hardened steel. It features a double row of rotor arranged teeth that effectively hold and guide the peppercorns for a perfect grind. The zinc coating protects the grinding system from oxidation, ensuring sharpness and wear resistance.

Salt Mill: The mechanism of Bisetti’s salt mill is made of high resistance ceramics. All the metal components are made of stainless steel and aluminum to resist corrosion.

Wood Collection

Roma: The Roma collection offers salt and pepper mills made of beech wood with a natural or walnut-stain finish. They have a traditional style and come in various sizes.

Firenze: The Firenze collection includes salt and pepper mills made of beech wood with a shiny lacquered finish, offering a more contemporary look. They are available in black, red, and white, in different sizes.

Imperia: The Imperia collection showcases salt and pepper mills made of solid olive wood. Olive wood is known for its beautiful wavy texture, adding elegance to any table setting.

Acrylic Milano: The Milano collection features a traditional design with a rounded head and curvy mill body. The mill body is made of clear acrylic and is available in different sizes.

Verona: The Verona collection offers a more contemporary look with its linear mill shape body. The body is made of clear acrylic and comes in various sizes.

Perugia: The Perugia collection is a beautiful set with a rounded head and linear body. The mill body is made of clear acrylic, with some models offering a stainless steel base. It comes in different sizes.

Iconic Spice Mills

Holiday: The holiday collection, designed by Whynot Design, features a mill body made of beech wood. The mill measures 155 mm or 6 inches in size.

Mushrooms: The mushroom collection, designed by Itamar Harari, showcases a mill body made of beech wood, available with a red or brown finish on the head. This mill measures 135 mm or 5.3 inches.

Vases: The vase collection, designed by Adam + Harboth, is made of beech wood and offers a multi-color, red, or black option. The mills come in two sizes, 160 mm and 190 mm or 6.3 inches and 7.5 inches, respectively. The mill body is made of glass with a stainless steel head.

The grinder is made of polyoxymethylene, which is suitable for grinding aromatic herbs and spices. Some ingredients release natural oils during grinding, which may leave residue on the mechanism. However, the grinder is easy to clean by simply hand washing, including the grinder, to remove any spice residue.
