Our Story

Bisetti's story begins in 1945 in the Strona Valley and villages overlooking the eastern shore of Lake Orta, where traditional craftsmanship thrived. The company combines centuries-old local artisan traditions with cutting-edge modern machinery and equipment to meet the quality standards demanded by the new millennium market.

In 2018, Bisetti relocated to a modern factory in Omegna, Italy, where they continue to produce high-quality wooden table and kitchen items.

Care and Maintenance for Your Cutting Board

To keep your cutting board in top condition, you will need food-grade mineral oil and board cream, such as Boos block board cream. Follow these steps for optimal care:

The Wash: Wash your cutting board with water and a lint-free rag, including the underside and edges, to remove any stuck-on residue. Ensure the board is thoroughly dried overnight while standing on its edge. The Oil: Apply a generous layer of mineral oil to all surfaces of the board and let it soak for at least three hours before drying it on its edge. The Cream: Apply board cream to the entire board to create a protective barrier and let it sit overnight. The Clean: The next morning, use a lint-free microfiber cloth to rub the board in circular motions, creating a beautiful, glassy finish. Additional Information
